Today’s the day for the big ski jump in Pacific Heights, rescheduled from late August. The Chronicle has all the details here and here. Sara’s coming over at lunch time and we’ll be heading over to Fillmore St. for all the insanity. Check back later for (more) pictures.

The fall color reports are starting to come in from the eastern slopes for the Sierra, here, and here. I’ve got a trip planned for the Bishop area on October 15/16th, hoping to add to the fall color galleries and get some much needed time in the mountains.

U2 recently started the fall leg of their Vertigo Tour. I finally posted the photos from the spring leg at: here. Some of the photos from San Diego were shot by my sweetie. We’re looking forward to more shows this fall, currently planning for Las Vegas and Oakland.
