Lots of farmland, and plenty of fall colors. The requisite Bob Evans meal was had for lunch (if you haven't eaten at a Bob Evans Restaurant it's worth a trip to the mid west). The only rain of the trip was a downpour outside of Chicago. The highlight of the day was crossing the mighty Mississippi River at sunset.
