Dublin for 2000

For years I had looked forward to the moment 1999 rolls over to 2000 as a time to be in Dublin Ireland. This goes all the way back to the first time I heard a recording of U2's famous show at the Point Depot in Dublin on New Years Eve 1989/1990. My dream was to be in the Point Depot at midnight as U2 took the stage again to welcome in the year 2000. Unfortunately history would not repeat itself, no U2 concert would happen, but we did get to see many of the U2 related sites in Dublin and have some good times.
