Star Wars - The Magic of Myth

In the fall of 1997 Lucasfilm and the Smithsonian Institution created an exhibit of items from the Lucasfilm archives at the National Air & Space Museum in Washington DC. Many of items filled the dreams of my youth. I could have spent hours exploring the details of the near five foot long Millennium Falcon model, or the life size speeder bike.

I was able to visit the exhibit twice and take pictures. The pictures below were taken with my Fuji APS camera. Not the ideal camera for photographing in low light, and with an autofocus beam that bounces off the glass display, but a record of most of the items on display. Also included are some photos of the National Air & Space Museum.
