We're excited to begin offering a 'Print of the Month' starting with one of my favorite images, “Storm Rolling In - Yosemite Valley”. This image was made in October 2000 from the Tunnel View overlook in Yosemite National Park. For me this image captures the awesome scale of Yosemite Valley and the incredible weather patterns that move across the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The light was changing rapidly as I setup my tripod and composed this shot. Soon afterward a full scale storm began, complete with ligtening and thunder rolling down the valley.

This image was recorded with a Canon EOS Elan II and a 50mm f/1.4 lens on Fuji Velvia professional slide film. The image was then drum scanned to extract as much information as possible from the original slide.
